Last Updated: December 29, 2025

1Introduction

Welcome to EGDesk. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EGDesk desktop application and web interface (collectively, the "Service") provided by QUUS ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using EGDesk, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2Service Description

EGDesk is a system that provides multiple ways to run MCP servers and AI models:

  • Desktop MCP Server β€” Run an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server locally on your PC for AI integrations
  • Local LLM Server β€” Run open-source AI models directly on your hardware
  • Google Apps Script MCP β€” Create cloud-based MCP servers that run 24/7 and store data in your Google account (Sheets, Drive, Docs)
  • Web Interface β€” Access all your MCP servers from anywhere via Google OAuth authentication

The Service is currently provided free of charge and is available as open-source software.

3Privacy & Data Handling

πŸ”’ Your Data, Your Control

EGDesk is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not store your data on our servers. All data is stored either on your local PC or in your own Google account β€” never on EGDesk servers.

What we DO NOT collect:

  • β€’ Your files or documents
  • β€’ AI conversations or prompts
  • β€’ LLM outputs or model data
  • β€’ Data stored in your Google Sheets/Drive via Apps Script MCP
  • β€’ Any content processed through EGDesk

What we DO use:

  • β€’ Google OAuth for authentication (email for account identification only)
  • β€’ Google Apps Script permissions to create and manage MCP server code
  • β€’ Connection data to facilitate remote access between your devices

Apps Script MCP Data:

When using Apps Script MCP, data can be stored in both your local PC and your Google account (Sheets, Drive, Docs, etc.). We use Apps Script permissions only to manage the MCP server code β€” we do not collect or store your data in our database.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to EGDesk under the following circumstances:

  • βœ•Attempts to compromise system security or integrity
  • βœ•Abuse of the Service that affects other users
  • βœ•Distribution of harmful, illegal, or offensive content

Suspension Process:

  1. 1. Warning: For minor violations, we will issue a warning via email with details of the violation.
  2. 2. Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations may result in temporary suspension (7-30 days).
  3. 3. Permanent Termination: Severe violations or continued misconduct will result in permanent account termination.

Appeal Process:

If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may contact us at m8chaa@gmail.com within 14 days of suspension. We will review your case and respond within 7 business days.

Effect of Termination:

Since your data is stored on your local PC and/or your own Google account, account termination only affects your ability to use the EGDesk web interface and Apps Script MCP management features. Your local data, desktop application functionality, and data in your Google account remain unaffected.

6Third-Party Services & Open Source

Google OAuth:

EGDesk uses Google OAuth for authentication. By using our Service, you also agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We only access your basic profile information (email) for account identification.

Google Apps Script:

EGDesk uses Google Apps Script to create and run MCP servers. When using this feature:

  • β€’ MCP server code runs on Google's Apps Script infrastructure
  • β€’ MCP server data can be stored on your PC and/or your Google account (Sheets, Drive, etc.)
  • β€’ Data in your Google account is governed by Google's Terms of Service
  • β€’ We use Apps Script permissions to create, deploy, and manage MCP server code
  • β€’ AI can modify your MCP server code based on your instructions
  • β€’ EGDesk does not collect or store your data β€” it stays in your PC or Google account
  • β€’ Google Apps Script usage is subject to Google's quotas and limitations

Open Source LLMs:

EGDesk supports various open-source large language models. Each model may have its own license terms. You are responsible for complying with the respective licenses of any AI models you choose to run locally.

Open Source Nature:

EGDesk is currently available as open-source software. You may view, modify, and contribute to the source code in accordance with the applicable open-source license available in our GitHub repository.

8Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify users via email or through the Service. Your continued use of EGDesk after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for any updates.

9Payment, Subscriptions & Refunds

EGDesk Pro is offered as a prepaid annual license. Depending on the payment method you choose, this is either a one-time annual charge (e.g. via PortOne / KGμ΄λ‹ˆμ‹œμŠ€ card payment in KRW) with no automatic renewal, or a recurring annual subscription (e.g. via PayPal) that renews automatically until cancelled.

Refunds. Because EGDesk Pro unlocks digital software features immediately upon payment, refund requests are handled as follows:

  • If you request a refund within 7 days of purchase and have not substantially used the Pro features unlocked by your payment, we will issue a full refund.
  • After 7 days, or once the Pro features have been substantially used, refunds are not available except where required by the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (μ „μžμƒκ±°λž˜ λ“±μ—μ„œμ˜ μ†ŒλΉ„μžλ³΄ν˜Έμ— κ΄€ν•œ 법λ₯ ) or other applicable law.
  • Duplicate charges, failed activations, or billing errors on our part are corrected or refunded in full once verified.

Cancellation. You may stop using the Service at any time. For prepaid annual licenses, cancellation does not trigger a partial refund for the unused portion of the term except as described above. For recurring subscriptions (e.g. PayPal), cancelling stops future renewal charges; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

To request a refund or cancellation, contact us using the information below with your order or payment ID.

10Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
